Naming the magazine

The next task was to create a magazine proposal. This had to include a name for my magazine and the demographic it was going to be sold to. To name my magazine, I thought of words associated with the Hip-Hop genre.
I came up with:

Beatz

and

Lyrical Beat

I carried out a survey and my results showed that 'Lyrical Beat' was the most popular name choice. I chose this name and plan to create a logo. I am continuing my research and will finalise the name of the magazine at a later date.I decided that my magazine should be aimed at 16 - 24 year olds, which would mean that it would be aimed at young adults and adults. It is quite a broad age range and should enable me to be very creative and include lots of ideas and central topics. I chose this demographic as I feel there is a gap in the market for a Hip-Hop/R&B magazine for young adults/adults.
